Juicy Couture Summer 2013 - My Faves

Ladies, long time no talk! How is everyone doing? :) So, I've recently found myself perusing the good ol' Juicy Couture site quite a little bit. Big surprise, right? While doing just this, I've come across an array of tropical island-esque pieces that meet my liking. (click the photos for a better view)

"Aloha" Velour Hoodie in "Papaya" $108
Aloha! What a nice way to kickoff this tropical post :) Both the crystals beneath the "Juicy" letters and the rainbow colors throughout make this hoodie a fun summer piece.

Surf Board Raffia Tote $128
Ah, the pastel surfboards are so cute! The watchful pelican and scattered seashells are sweet touches, as well. Due to its price point, I don't know that I'd take take this to the beach. However, I think it works best as a unique novelty tote, perfect for shopping or running errands :]

Canvas Mini Wallet in "Palm Print" $42
Here's a breezy little wallet, nice and simple. I really like the green shades of the leather trim and the palm leaves. The inside provides a contrast of neon yellow.

Seahorse Charm $48
Seahorses are a must for the summer. I love the teal color of this charm. It's hard to tell from the photo, but there's some crystal detailing along the back.

"Paradise" Short Sleeve Terry Hoodie
in "Hazy Summer" $128
Juicy doesn't create nearly as many short sleeve hoodies as they do long, so it's always nice to see one pop up. I absolutely adore the very "Hawaiian beach luau at sunset" design.

Fern Print Tote
in "Seaside" $98 on sale for $40!
This bag reminds me of retro Hawaii...one of my favorite things in life ;) The blue stripes really stand out, and the floral embroidery with the fern branches is so charming.

Hibiscus Scarf in "South Pacific Blue" $58
What a fun scarf for summer! I love the wishy-washy print. Hibiscuses have always been a favorite flower of mine.

Flamingo Key Fob $48
Flamingos are one of my favorite animals, they really are. I think they're absolutely beautiful, which should be no surprise, considering I love the color pink. The crystals across the wing are great, but I think the little crystal she's holding with her foot is even cuter! :) Juicy's key fobs can be used as key rings or purse charms (see the heart clasp). I would choose the latter and clip this birdie onto a daydreamer.

"Malibu Girl Palm Tree" Velour Daydreamer
in "Martini Olive" $198
Personally, I don't remember Juicy ever making a daydreamer quite like this one. I think the earthy green tones and the rich brown look really good together. The golden palm tree emblem in the center makes for a luxe and glamorous focal point.

"Iconic Paradise" Velour Hoodie
in "Mermaid Teal" $128
And now, for my very top pink of the whole bunch... I love everything about this hoodie!!! The abundant crystals, the vibrant colors, the bookend flamingos, the tropical flowers...it's all too perfect!

Tell me some of your favorite things to wear/accessorize with during the summertime ;) Thank you for reading!

Song of the Moment: "40 Day Dream"

Good evening friends. Time for another SOTM post! ;] Well, 40 Day Dream is probably one of my favorite songs. It's by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros.

The lyrics remind me of this...

"She's different. She doesn't waste my time. We can skip all the how are you's and artificial bullshit that was made routine by a dull person and look deeper into what's really going on. She wanted to know the sonnet of my heart...the colors seen through my eyes. She could feel the pain in my fingertips, yet remove it with her hand placed on mine. She performed open heart surgery, with just her smile and ocean watered eyes. She even told me she loved me, and after hearing those words, I could have sworn I had died."

So beautiful, it's almost painful, huh? Really only beautiful if you're able to find something like that, though. Otherwise... In this moment, I am also reminded of the plastic bag scene of my favorite movie, American Beauty. I would link it, but I feel it's much too special to be linked. If you truly wish to watch it, look it up on youtube, it's there. But honestly, having to look it up would mean you haven't seen the movie, in which case, do yourself a generous favor and rent it asap.

Thanks for reading <3

Target Christmas Haul

Welcome to the very first of my Christmas 2012 posts! Just as I searched Target for Halloween treats a few weeks ago, I returned and found some awesome items for the festive Christmas season :) There's no better time of the year than now to find oodles of holiday themed everything.

"Candy Cane" Oreos
These taste sooo good :] Quite possibly my new favorite kind of Oreos!

Jet-Puffed "Peppermint Mallows"
It's no surprise Jet-Puffed would make peppermint mallows, considering their pumpkin spice variety for fall. Unfortunately, they don't taste very minty to me at all... I'm hoping they'll taste better warm/melty in hot cocoa.

holiday Renuzit & holiday Softsoap
The super rich red color of both product's packaging is quite lovely ;) I'm excited to smell the apple Renuzit!

Christmas Goldfish & Disney fruit snacks
The red/green colors of the goldfish crackers are so fun, and the fruit snacks are very tasty!

Colgate "Winter Watermelon" toothpaste
and Christmas Dixie plates
I like these little Colgate toothpastes, can you tell? ;) I'm still working on using up the Halloween one! It's a bit disappointing they're both the same flavor, though.

assorted Christmas chocolate candies
Dove "Peppermint Bark Dark Chocolate", "Mint Chocolate" m&m's, "Cookies 'n' Cream" Hershey's bar, Resse's trees

Thank you for reading!

Barbie Listerine "Smart Rinse" - Quick Review

Pink! Glitter! Barbie!!! The second I discovered this mouthwash, I knew it had to be mine :]

"Smart Rinse" by Listerine is an anti-cavity mouthwash. It costs around $4.50 (depending on where you buy it), and you get 16.9 ounces.

Formulated with children in mind, it does not have the strong burning sensation Listerine is known for. In fact, it doesn't burn at all, and that's something to appreciate! In place of the burning is a fun bubblegum flavor.

The packaging is amazing... The background of the label is holographic glitter! The peel-off wrapper around the top is printed with vintage Barbie heads. The mouthwash itself is colored pink.

There's a blue version available with the cartoon characters Phineas and Ferb...for the boys, perhaps? But hey, boys like Barbie, too! ;) They also make more affordable, non-character bottles.

I would absolutely recommend this to all children and adults alike :) What's your favorite Listerine mouthwash? Thank you for reading!

Song of the Moment: "Ramble On"

"Ramble On" is my favorite Led Zeppelin song.

Lyrics like "the leaves are fallin' all around" and "the autumn moon lights my way" make it a wonderful song for the fall season. Ever notice that before? ;)

My favorite line, however, is this one:

"mine's a tale that can't be told, my freedom I hold dear"

Ramble on, kids...

Fall Foodie Goodies

Hey guys :] I've found and tried some lovely fall themed edibles this month, and I thought I'd share them with you all!

"Sweet Cinnamon" Cool Whip
-and-
"Pumpkin Spice" Coffee-mate

The cinnamon Cool Whip is delicious! I plopped it on some pumpkin pie, in some pudding, and in some (sugar-free) hot chocolate. It was the best on the pie ;) My favorite of these two treats is the pumpkin spice Coffee-mate! I very, very rarely drink coffee, but this stuff made the coffee worth my while! It smells and tastes really similar to pumpkin pie.

Jet-Puffed "Pumpkin Spice Mallows"

You may remember my first feature of these marshmallows in one of my Halloween posts (before I got them). They're pretty tasty, but I think I prefer the chocolate flavored mallows over these guys... I adore the pumpkin shapes, though ;)

Thanks for stopping by!
